Celtics use balanced attack to beat Magic

With losses in four straight, the Celtics received the break they needed with the Magic and their 3-21 road record coming to town Sunday. The C's defeated Orlando, 96-89, as four players reached double-figures in points in the win.

Rajon Rondo had his best game since his return with 19 points, 10 assists and six rebounds. Jared Sullinger had a solid game as well, finishing with 21 points and 12 rebounds while Avery Bradley added 17 points in his return to the lineup. The Celtics got off to a good start, leading 27-19 after the first quarter and continued their strong play the rest of the way.

Orlando was led by Arron Afflalo who had 18 points and former Celtic Glen Davis added 15 in the loss.

The Celtics will be back in action Wednesday night (7 p.m., CSNNE) in Philadelphia taking on the 76ers.

What they'll be saying: It was one of the better all around games for the C's of late as they shot 50 percent from the field and there was a lot of chemistry on the floor, especially between Rondo and Bradley, who finally were able to play well with one another. The C's played decent defense as well, holding the Magic to 41 percent shooting. The one negative to take away from the game was the 16 turnovers the C's committed.
