A 25-year-old woman is facing charges after another woman was allegedly bitten on the right breast and stabbed with a potato peeler outside a Granville Street nightclub.
The women, who appeared to know each other, were ejected from the Republic Nightclub at around 2 a.m. Tuesday. Once outside, their altercation allegedly got worse.
Police Const. Jana McGuinness said she doesn’t know where the peeler came from.
The victim, 20, was taken to hospital for a bite wound to her chest and minor injuries to her ear.
Yurub Mohammed Arte has been charged with assault and assault with a weapon.
