A man who police said was employed for over a year as a part-time teacher at an after-school program was arraigned on child pornography charges Friday.
Ian Silver-Eck, 20, of Revere was charged on one count each of possession of obscene material and possession of child pornography. He worked at “Build it Yourself,” a program which works with students throughout Massachusetts. Police said they found Silver-Eck after receiving a tip from the National Center for Missing and Exploited Children last December, and obtained his home address with an administrative subpoena.
