Frequent travelers are used to watching sitcoms, movies and even playing video games during flights. Now one airline says it will soon be offering some more intellectually stimulating fare.
Inside Higher Ed reports that JetBlue passengers will soon be able to take massive open online courses (better known as MOOCs) on its flights.
Through a partnership with the education platform Coursera, the airline plans to offer 10 new e-learning videos on its in-flight Wi-Fi network by the end of the year.
But don’t think these classes will be easy just because you’ll be taking them from 15,000 feet above ground. Among the courses offered include “Introduction to Marketing” from the University of Pennsylvania’s Wharton School of Business and classes from the Berklee School of Music.
