A college student is alive, but short about $2,000 worth of personal belongings after some once Good Samaritans decided to rob him after helping him from his overturned car in Queens Saturday morning, reports said.

Atef Chisty, 21, lost control of his vehicle on 48th Street, when it went over a residential speed bump and rolled onto its roof, PIX11 reported. He told investigators he fell asleep looking for a parking spot after coming home from a volunteer position.

Chisty told ABC7that he was trapped in the car and called for help.

“I’m like shouting, ‘Anybody here, anybody here,’ I hear, ‘Oh man, shoot!'” Chisty told ABC7.

Two men helped Chisty, after which he said he later realized his cellphone, laptop, wallet and bookbag with his studying materials were missing before an ambulance arrived.

Chisty says he hope the men can be caught and taught a lesson.

“I always live by the idea that you do good to people even if they do harm to you,” Chisty told PIX11. “At the end of the day you don’t want to. You just want them to learn a lesson.”
