Police have arrested a man that allegedly operated a sex club on a quiet Chelsea block.
Club promoter Alexander Van Bousen, 43, was arrested on September 30th for the illegal sale of alcohol, according to DNAinfo.com.
Van Bousen allegedly ran an after-hours sex club that offered unlimited alcohol, and rendezvous for just $20.
Residents in the neighborhood complained of rowdy visitors and discarded condoms.
The parties were allegedly held at La Galleria Loft, but owner Abriani Velroa had no idea they were going on.
“It was nuts — everything was a lie,” Velroa said. “He said it was a high-end food event for private members. The place was completely destroyed by his events.”
