Police have recaptured a prisoner who escaped from Kings County Criminal Court on Thursday.
According to police, Corpus Hernandez, 37, slipped out of the courthouse on Schermerhorn Street Thursday about 4:30 p.m.
Police issued an alert about the escape Thursday, describing Hernandez with black hair, a “Maria” tattoo on his neck, standing 5 feet 6 inches tall and weighing 160 pounds, wearing a black jacket and gray shirt.
Cops said Friday that Hernandez has been apprehended.
Hernandez reportedly has a long rap sheet with more than 30 previous arrests.
Earlier this month, a prisoner escaped a Bronx jail, and in January, a murder suspect was able to run out of a Brooklyn police precinct.
