Cops seeking absent-minded proposer

Boston Police are trying to locate a proposer who may have wet hands – or wet feet.

Police today said they are trying to locate the owner of a diamond engagement ring found in the Fenway area Saturday.

A Good Samaritan turned in the ring to the front desk of the Brighton station.

The rightful owner will need to provide police with a detailed description of the ring as well as proof of ownership.
