A gang of boys is up to no good in the Purcell’s Cove Road area. Coun. Linda Mosher said she started getting complaints in June that between four and 12 young boys used pylons to slow cars down and threw sticks and mud at the vehicles.
“Several times people reported (the boys) had a laser pointer,” she said.
These incidents usually happened at 10:30-11:30 p.m. and sometimes as early as 1 a.m.
Const. Brian Palmeter of the Halifax Regional Police said people tend to call the councilor and not police with this kind of incident because there was no damage.
