The funeral for IndyCar star Dan Wheldon is Saturday in St. Petersburg, Fla., IndyCar series officials announced today.
The 10 a.m. service will be held at at First Presbyterian Church.
Wheldon, 33, was killed Sunday in a horrific wreck at Las Vegas Motor Speedway. He leaves behind a wife and two sons.
A public memorial service will be held 4 p.m. Sunday at Conseco Fieldhouse in Indianapolis — the city where Wheldon made his name by winning two Indianapolis 500s.
