There’s plenty of butt-kicking in Shailene Woodley’s upcoming movie “Divergent,” so it makes sense that the soundtrack gets you pumped up, too. Based on Veronica Roth’s best-selling YA novel, the movie (out March 21) is set in a futuristic dystopia where people are divided into different communities based on their moral traits. A teen challenges this way of thinking, sparking controversy and war. Oh, and of course there’s a love story.
Ellie Goulding is lending a few of her songs from her album “Halcyon” to the “Divergent” soundtrack, as well a brand new song, “Beating Heart.” Zedd, Skrillex, M83, Kendrick Lamar, A$AP Rocky and more will also be featured. The album doesn’t come out until March 11, but it’s available forpresale starting today. Get the full track list below:
