A Boston Duck Boat struck an overpass on StorrowDrive Sunday evening, pulling off part of the vehicle’s roof, officials said.
The Boston Fire Department got a call about the incident at 6:30 p.m. Sunday. A vehicle operated by Boston Duck Tours was heading eastbound on Storrow Drive when it hit an overpass near the Massachusetts Eye and Ear Infirmary, fire department spokesman Steve MacDonald said. Video posted to Twitter, taken by a passenger also driving down Storrow, shows the duck boat with part of its roof ripped off.

The impact also damaged the stairs on the duck boat that passengers use to get on and off, MacDonald said.
No passengers were injured, and officials were able to get people off of the vehicle via a small ladder after the duck boat was moved off of Storrow to a side street near Leverett Circle.
Boston Duck Tours spokesman Joe Baerlein said that a first-year driver was diverted from the standard duck boat tour route because Becaon Street was closed.
