Golf’s power couple has gotten engaged!
No, no, not Tiger Woods and Lindsay Vonn. Dustin Johnson, the winner of no majors, got engaged to Paulina Gretzky, the daughter of hockey royalty, this weekend.
Johnson is 29; Gretzky is 24.
To be fair, Johnson is actually a pretty good golfer, despite having yet to win a major. He finished second in the 2011 British Open and had Top-10 finishes at both the U.S. Open and PGA Championship in 2010. He’s currently ranked No. 22 in the World Golf Rankings and has one win this season — the Hyundai Tournament of Champions in January.
Gretzky is, apparently, a singer, though beats me if I even knew that. She’s more widely known as a Twitter and Instagram star for her posting of often-racy photos.
Johnson himself is very familiar with posting photos on Twitter himself, including this one of the quite impressive rock he put on Gretzky’s finger.

I don’t know how confident I am in this union’s lasting effect, but congratulations to the couple anyway. And here’s to many more photos of Gretzky like this one (that’s Paul Bissonnette by the way, not her fiance).
