Whatever Works
Director: Woody Allen

The world makes no sense, even for a self-proclaimed genius like Boris Yellnikoff (Larry David). He admits he’s no expert, though, because he bungled his own suicide.

If you don’t see the humour, you’re not likely to get Woody Allen’s latest, his return to Manhattan after several years cinematically touring England and Spain.

A little sour lemon goes a long way, and Whatever Works threatens at first to choke on its own cynicism. Then Boris meets Melody (Evan Rachel Wood), a sweet but dumb-as-dirt runaway looking for a fresh start in New York.

As per usual with a Woody Allen DVD, there are no extras.
