Calgary police are still looking for one man after a major drug bust last Thursday where they seized drugs, equipment, cash and various weapons.
There were eight arrests following a tip from the public, with raids on two houses and a restaurant, Subs ’n’ More, at 311 1 Ave. SW.
“It’s a significant bust for sure,” said Acting Staff Sgt. Russ Williamson. “Kudos to the public for the tip.”
Police seized the drugs, currency, a canister of bear spray, numerous Samurai swords and knives, a box of handgun ammunition, a cocaine-production lab, digital scales and packaging material, mostly from Subs ’n’ More.
Police are still looking for Calgarian Lufti Itani, 26, who is described as a six-foot tall, 220-pound man of Lebanese descent.
