Elegance meets the artistic

The artistic and urban vibe of Liberty Village was the inspiration for designers Bryon Patton, Enid MacIntosh and Lorraine Leung, in Plazacorp’s King West condominiums.

“(It’s) a lively area, artistic and very creative,” says Macintosh, a designer with Bryon Patton & Associates.

The team of designers designed two model suites for the condominium, one as a one bedroom plus den and the other with two bedrooms and a den.

The one-bedroom features a light, clean and minimal palette focusing on the colours of ivory, white, and aqua, says Patton, president of Bryon Patton & Associates.

“I would call it sunny,” says MacIntosh. “It’s a happy suite and it lifts your spirit, a little Hollywood glamour and bright and fresh.”

While the other, Patton says is gives off a vibe of warm and elegant, but with a bit of pazzazz. It emphasizes warm wood tones with polished metal accents blending together clean lined modern pieces.

These two different looks were done on purpose.

“You can compare and contrast them and see the different moods,” says MacIntosh. “They’re two distinct looks to show that you can decorate two different ways and use the same sort of background.”

The main feature of the suites, MacIntosh says, is the amount of space for furnishing potential, larger than what many places offer. Both also feature a gel fireplace with a real flame, yet they only releasing water.

The model suite is open for the public to see throughout the week with the exception of Thursdays and Fridays. Suite sizes range from 496 to more than 1,400 with prices starting at $204,900.
