Harvey Weinstein — disgraced producer and alleged serial rapist — has apparently been telling his friends that there’s a bigger reason he’s been drowning in a sea of allegations. And that’s because he’s meant to change the world. Excuse us while we vomit.
Sources tell Page Six that Weinstein considers himself a savior, which, ew. Apparently, the 65-year-old has told his um, confidantes that “he was born to take the fall for his behavior in order to ‘change the world,” whatever that means. “He is resigned to his punishment — as a martyr for social change.”
A rep for Weinstein denies that Weinstein has a obvious, weird complex, saying “That’s absurd.” But is it any more absurd than Weinstein thinking he could get away with years of alleged sexual assault? Methinks no.
