It seems like just yesterday we were talking about another ridiculous thing Lindsay Lohan had done — oh wait, that was yesterday.
The “Mean Girls” star is at it again, and this time she’s telling us about the time she, a white woman, was racially profiled. During a visit to “Good Morning Britain,” the 30-year-old told Piers Morgan that she was traveling from London to New York after meeting BFF Recep Tayyip Erdoğan in Turkey. She and the president of Turkey were just gabbin' about the global refugee crisis, as you do. Then, while at Heathrow Airport, Lohan claims she was racially profiled for the first time in her life.
According to Vulture, she told Morgan, “[British Airport Security] opened my passport and saw ‘Lindsay Lohan’ and started immediately apologizing, but then said, ‘Please take off your headscarf.’ And I did, it’s okay.”
Oh, honey. That’s not how racial profiling works. Maybe you meant something else?
The actress also opened up about how the experience made her consider what it might be like to be a non-white woman, and her confusing relationship with the Quran.
