Recipe round-up: Beer cocktails

"Beer before liquor, never sicker"? That doesn't hold true when it comes to shandies and other beer/alcohol concoctions on summer cocktail menus around NYC.

If you’ve left the house at all this summer, then you’ve been to at least one bar or restaurant with a beer cocktail on the menu. That’s right, mixing your drinks is actually a very popular trend this summer —and not just as a whiskey shot and pint chaser, or a Corona floater on your frozen margarita (looking at you, Blockhead’s). Below, find a roundup of recipes that take you way beyond “liquor before beer.”
