The time has come. RuPaul’s Drag Race is back for its ninth season and all the queens are ready for action.
The popular reality show staring RuPaul premiered on March 24, at 8 p.m., EST on VH1.

This year, 13 new contestants will compete against each other for the title of “America's Next Drag Superstar.”
During the first episode we got the opportunity to meet each queen one by and watch them introduce themselves and try to leave a good impression on RuPaul and the television audience.
In the competition segment of the show, the contests had to strut their stuff in“The Miss Charisma, Uniqueness, Nerve and Talent Pageant.” They had to present two looks — one that represents where they are from, and one that shows offtheir best Lady Gaga-inspired look.
The highlight came when all were graced with the presence of Lady Gaga. She joined the cast in the workroom to offer advice and give them a pep talk. They are left with some sage advice: “When you're having a bad day, just remember that I was nobody, and then I became somebody one day."
