It’s hard to imagine Jerry Seinfeld as a struggling comedian, but once upon a time, he was. As part of Jimmy Fallon’s “Worst I Ever Bombed” segment on the “Tonight Show,” Seinfeld shared the tale of a young, struggling comedian who was asked to perform on New Year’s Eve at a disco in Queens, in the ‘ 70s . As you might imagine, New Year’s Eve at a disco in the ‘ 70s is not really the time or the place where people wanted to hear a young aspiring comedian test out his new jokes. So take heart, young comedians. Even Jerry Seinfeld has had some pretty terrible shows.
