Erica channels ’80s glam-rock librarian

Erica Peck

Erica Peck, actress, plays Scaramouche in the musical We Will Rock You, at the Canon Theatre:

Q: What products that you use make you look and feel good?

A: I use Neutrogena Clean & Clear Face Wash to take off the 10 pounds of stage makeup I wear. I’m never without blackest, black mascara, MAC Studio Fix powder and the tackiest shade of red lipstick I can find. Without a doubt, my hairspray and teasing comb are always with me. My big hair is my trademark!

Q: Describe your style?

A: I like to have fun with the way I look and only follow a trend if it inspires me. My style was once described as “‘80s glam-rock librarian.”

Q: How do you stay fit?

A: I do cardio and light weights three mornings a week. I’m thinking of trying some hot yoga.

Q: What are your healthy eating habits?

A: I eat a lot of tofu instead of meats and always eat whole wheat. I know that carbs are what I have to watch, so I go for veggies or egg whites more often.

Kyle Labine

Kyle Labine, plays Kurt on the series Grand Star which airs Saturday night on SPACE:

Q: What products that you use make you look and feel good?

A: Dove’s pretty solid. Sometimes, I use products from Lush. If you feel like you look good, then you do.

Q: Describe your style?

A: I just wear what I feel like. I find trends ridiculous. Wear what you want, wear what you feel comfortable in.

Q: What things make life easier?

A: Music is a big part of my life. A song can bring you in or out of a mind space so easily. I almost always have my Ipod with me when I’m acting. Aesop Rock is my favourite musical artist. Look him up!

Q: How do you stay fit?

A: Am I fit? I like to play sports. I play tennis with my wife quite a bit. I try to lift weights as much as possible, because I like the feeling of feeding your muscles when you are eating as opposed to storing up. Like a furnace versus a pantry.

Q: What are your healthy eating habits?

A: I eat quite a bit of fruit. I try to steer clear of sugars and white bread, because they make me sleepy.
