WASHINGTON (Reuters) – The U.S. Federal Communications Commission’s Enforcement Bureau is aware of reports of robocalls that recommended people to “stay home and stay safe” and not vote, an FCC official said Tuesday.

The Washington Post reported an unidentified robocaller placed an estimated 10 million calls in recent weeks warning people to “stay safe and stay home.” An FCC spokesman said the agency does not comment on pending investigations.
