Five teens were left injured after a Monday afternoon shooting at a Brooklyn playground stemming from an argument over an expensive backpack.

Shortly before 5 p.m. on Monday, the five teens were wounded in a shooting at Harry Maze Playground in East Flatbush, the New York Daily News reported. The incident began when the teens were arguing about an MCM bookbag, which can cost up to $1,700.

The victims, all males aged 15 to 18, suffered non-life-threatening injuries, according to The Associated Press. Two individuals were struck in the hand while the other three victims suffered shots to the leg, cheek and stomach.

FDNY officials told the Daily News that the victims were taken to Kings County Hospital.

The victims have reportedly not cooperated with the investigation.

“None of the kids are talking now,” one source was quoted by the Daily News.

So far, there have been no arrests in relation to the shooting, according to NBC4.
