Nothing says summer like good weather and great food. With thousands of restaurants around the city choosing one can seem impossible, but there’s no better time to try something new than during NYC’s Restaurant Week. It’s been coined “the summer’s biggest week” and will be going on for more than a week — from July 22 through Aug. 16. During the event nearly 300 of New York City’s most popular restaurants will offer three-course prix-fixe lunches for $25 and three-course prix-fixe dinners for $38 (excluding beverages, gratuities and taxes). Here’s a few of the best choices from around the city.

Cipriani (Downtown)

This casual downtown eatery offers a “slightly less formal” menu than its uptown sister location, but it’s no less delicious, offering items such as veal farfalle with lemon sauce and risotto alla primavera.
