Georgia man goes missing from hotel near LaGuardia Airport

UPDATE:The missing has been located and is safe.

A 23-year-old man from Georgia is missing after leaving his hotel in Queens earlier this month.

Ecubeelo Mbekalo, of Stone Mountain, Georgia was last seen at 10:30 p.m. onSept. 7 leaving theAirway Inn hotel located at 82-20 Astoria Blvd. in East Elmhurst near LaGuardia Airport, police said.

Mbekalo’s mother, who was staying with him at the hotel, reported him missing after he never returned, according to authorities.

Mbekalo is described as 5 feet6 inchestall, 160 pounds with adark complexion, black hair andblack eyes.
