GARDEN CITY – Nassau County Girl Scouts are sharpening their cookie-hawking skills by attending a sales seminar led by a professional business specialist. The Scouts are learning how to set sales goals and how to turn a sale around from a reluctant buyer in this economic downturn. The sales training comes at a time when the Girl Scouts are raising the price of cookies per box from $3.50 to $4.
