Hannah’s big on skin care, Scrabble and chicken soup

Hannah Simone, MuchMusic VJ:

“Unprocessed, fresh spicy foods keep my head and heart healthy.”

Q: What products make you look and feel good?

A: I swear by Dermalogica. It has restored my skin and keeps it healthy. Every time I run across the border I grab something that smells good from Victoria’s Secret. I am an addict!

Q: How do you keep life in perspective?

A: I travel a lot and read constantly. I find getting out of your comfort zone and exploring our planet keeps you in check and reminds you of what truly matters.

Q: How do you stay fit?

A: I walk everywhere. In the winter, I stay fit by playing a lot of Scrabble with my best friends, safe and warm in my apartment. What? Mental fitness is important.

Q: What are your healthy eating habits?

A: I try to eat healthy foods that are spicy. Unprocessed, fresh, spicy foods keep my head and heart healthy. My secret to staying healthy during our long Canadian winters is my mother’s chicken soup avgolemono. Chicken, eggs and lots of lemon. Try it!

Johnny Hockin, host, MTV Live Hacked:

Q: What products make you look and feel good?

A: MAC Shave is the best shave out! A finger of Aveda’s Grooming Clay in my hair every morning keeps me looking tidy.

Q: Describe your style?

A: I’m interested in trends but I like things more ahead of the curve. One of my favourite designers is Kim Jones for his futuristic take on things that are always in style.

Q: What things make life easier?

A: Taking breaks! Sometimes a vacation is all you need to reset your brain. Heading to the country for an afternoon or getting to another city for a weekend. Sometimes I forget how powerful those can be.

Q: How do you stay fit?

A: I like to play basketball with the boys.
