Happy Hour Playset for kids causes online outrage, turns out to be fake

A pretend bar meant for kids turned out to be just that — make-believe.

But before it was revealed that the toy was fake, the Happy Hour Playset reportedly caused outrage on social media.

Snopes.com debunked the playset after a Facebook user posted a photo of the supposed Fisher Price product, complete with a pretend bar, bar stools and beer bottles. On the box, there are two kids depicted holding a beer bottle and a baby dressed in a collared shirt and bowtie, acting as the bartender. The box also says the set is for ages 3 and up.

Though some users reportedly could tell it was fake, others thought it was real, and even expressed their anger directly to Fisher Price.

Fisher Price responded in a statement saying the product “is not endorsed, produced or approved” by them.
