Former secretary of state and potential 2016 presidential contender Hillary Clinton will be in Cambridge Monday night to sign copies of her new book.

The sold out event, which will take place at the Harvard Book Store, is scheduled from 7 p.m. to 9 p.m.

Clinton will not speak at the event, but will greet those in attendance and sign their copies of the book. “Hard Choices” was released this month and is Clinton’s inside accountof the crises, choices, and challenges she faced during her four years as America’s 67th secretary of state, and how those experiences drive her view of the future, according to an Amazon book description.

The visit by a former first lady, 2008 presidential contender and secretary of state means that some roadways near Harvard Square in Cambridge will be closed. Cambridge Police posted a traffic advisory on Twitter warning people that Plympton Street closed at 3:30 p.m. and that surrounding areas would be affected.

Harvard Book Store also said it closed to the public early at 3 p.m. to prepare for the event.
