It’s a good thing Romi and Michelle invented Post-It Notes, because otherwise we might not have “Pretty Woman.” Stars Richard Gere and Julia Roberts reunited with director Garry Marshall on the “Today” show to celebrate the film’s 25th anniversary, and Gere recounted how meeting Roberts put an end to his waffling about signing on for the project. “We loved each other immediately. It was a nice thing. But to be honest, I didn’t know if I was doing this movie yet,” Gere remembers. “[Marshall] calls up and is kind of like, ‘How’s it going?’ And I’m going, ‘Yeah, yeah …’ She’s across from the desk and she takes a piece of paper and she’s writing something on it … . And she turns it around and she pushes it to me and it said, ‘Please say yes.'”

That piece of paper, Roberts is quick to point out, was a Post-It Note. Is there anything they can’t do?
