How many billionaires would it take to buy New York City?

Manhattan is known as the playground of the rich—but how many of the wealthiest one-percenters would it take to actually buy the entire playground?

Property Shark took a look at the latest issue of Forbes’ World Billionaires List and see how many of them it would take to buy up all of Manhattan’s pricey property.

The site found that it would only take a dozen of the top richest entries on Forbes’ list to buy all of the borough’s property and they would still have some money left over to decorate.

Moving to the outer boroughs, it would take the billionaires who ranked 4th through 9th to buy Brooklyn, and only the top three to buy Queens.
