HRM is in search of a new chief administrative officer.
The municipality issued a statement last evening from Dan English about his decision to step down as CAO.
“It is with mixed emotions that I share this news as I have thoroughly enjoyed the last five years as CAO of Halifax Regional Municipality,” English’s statement read.
No reason was given, but the statement ended with English stating he was looking forward, “to continuing to support and advocate for the growth of our city in my future undertakings.” Deputy CAO Wayne Anstey will now serve as interim chief.
