A human skull—believed to be female—was discovered on the grounds of a National Grid facility in Everett, according to multiple reports.
A forensic anthropologist who studied the skull said it appears to have been exposed to elements for at least a year, CBS Boston reported.

The remains were discovered by workers around 11 a.m. Thursday,WHDH reported. A cadaver dog and other investigators continue to search the area. The remains are reportedly being tested by the Office of the Chief Medical Examiner, both to confirm the age and gender of the remains.
