iPod Touches in the classroom usually result in students getting lectured, but a new school initiative will use the technology as a learning tool.
The Calgary Board of Education announced dramatic changes over the next few years yesterday with the launch of its first Learning Commons.
CBE chief superintendent Naomi Johnson said the program will be the future of learning through digital citizenship.
“This will help us move forward with expertise in technologies and teachers can help students learn responsible technology,” she said.
