It looks like next week we’ll finally learn the lineup for the July 23 portion of Halifax Rocks 2010.
After two tentatively scheduled media conferences never materialized, Harold MacKay of Power Promotional Concepts told News 95.7 on Thursday the acts for the July 23 show on the Halifax Common will be announced on Tuesday.
MacKay also said details of a new ticket “insurance” offer would be announced on Tuesday. The offer would see those purchasing tickets by a certain date be allowed to get a full refund, even by watching the show, should a certain amount of rain fall on the day of the concert.
Michelle MacKay of Power Promotional Concepts told Metro this month the July 23 show would feature a “fresh new lineup of artists” that haven’t performed in the city before.
Halifax Rocks 2010 will run on July 23 and 24 on the Halifax Common site.
The July 24 portion of Halifax Rocks will see the Black Eyed Peas headline, with indie-rockers Weezer and local rapper Classified also taking to the stage.
