Leslie Jones ain’t afraid of no Twitter users

So that new “Ghostbusters” trailer that came out last week? That some people apparently had some problems with?

Well, one of the new team members, Leslie Jones, has heard those complaints — specifically about her MTA worker character being the only non-white one also not a brainy scientist — and she’s got something to say about them.

“Why can’t a regular person be a ghostbuster? I’m confused. And why can’t I be the one who plays them? I am a performer. Just go see the movie,” she tweeted. “It’s not a man, woman, race, class thang! It’s a ghostbuster thang! And as far as I’m concerned we all ghostbusters! Stand tall!”

Yes, ma’am!
