Levi Aron: Confession, but details don’t add up

Levi Aron, the man accused of murdering and dismembering Leiby Kletzky, pleaded not guilty Thursday in court despite the fact that he confessed to the gruesome crime, according to court documents.

And police are now trying to account for several holes in his story about what exactly happened to the 9-year-old boy.

Aron said that he picked up Kletzky on Monday and then took him to a wedding in Monsey, N.Y. Aron reportedly said he killed the boy Tuesday.

But police could only confirm Aron, not the boy, attended the wedding, and think that the child was murdered on Monday.

Police said Kletzky’s body was found with cuts and scratches on his wrists and forearms, suggesting that the boy struggled.

Aron’s attorney said his client hears voices, and he was placed under suicide watch in jail. His ex-wife claims he once worked as a butcher.
