What’s your first impression of Lisa Lai? She walked in to the Style By Jury studio wearing purple from head to toe. At 35, Lisa hides behind a purple wall and appears almost like a cartoon character. “When people first see me,” she says, “they say things like she would be pretty ‘if only…’ I don’t want to be an ‘if only’ anymore.”

We brought Lisa closer to her dream by consulting with cosmetic surgeon Dr. William Middleton. He found the right side of Lisa’s face was less developed than the left, her chin was undersized, and she had too much fat underneath it. He brought symmetry and definition to her face by giving her liposuction under her chin, a chin and cheek implant, and removing a small mole on her cheek.

Next, Lisa met with dentists Dr. Arma Afsar and Dr. Andrew Charkiw, who did the necessary repairs and topped it off by giving her eight upper and six lower porcelain veneers courtesy of the artists at the Pro-Art dental lab (www.Pro-ArtDentalLab.com).

The next item for Lisa was a session with our super stylist, David Clemmer, who took her shopping to the Paola Di fashion boutique for some sexy outfits.

There was more help on the way thanks to hairstylist Johnny Cupello. He treated and conditioned her hair, trimmed the damaged parts and gave her a stylish new cut. Then he used reddish tones to complement her pale skin and set off her blue eyes. Makeup artist Korby Banner used liquid eyeliner on the upper eyelid to add emphasis and drama, pencil on the bottom to close in the eye and add shape, and finally a subtle taupey shadow.
