Marc Pronovost’s skill with a beer tap has earned him national bragging rights as Stella Artois’ 2010 Canadian Draught Master.
The Barrhaven man’s perfect pour beat 15 other contestants from across the country in Toronto Friday, a victory he described as, “an unbelievable and surreal experience.”
“Throughout the competition my hands were steady and my head was clear — I kept my cool and I think that’s what set me ahead of the rest,” he said.
Pronovost will pull for Canada on the world stage at the 2010 Stella Artois World Draught Master Competition in London, England, on October 28.
