A Boston man was arraigned yesterday on charges that he robbed a 67-year-old blind performer at the Arlington Street T station.
Ledonte Fisher, 35, was charged with unarmed robbery of a person over 60, disorderly conduct and resisting arrest.
Fisher allegedly stole the man’s change cup from his hand and fled on to a train around 4 p.m. Tuesday.
The incident happened in front of a T service agent who saw Fisher allegedly rip the paper cup from Fisher’s hand and put the change in his pocket, T authorities said.
Authorities said the cup contained $4.47 — the victim’s profits earned from singing at the station.
Transit police were able to track down Fisher at Bolyston Station.
Boston Municipal Court judge Sally Kelly ordered Fisher held on $5,000 bail and revoked his bail on an unrelated case in which he allegedly threatened employees of the Shaw’s on Huntington Avenue last year.
