Man dead after struck by two vehicles in Queens hit and run

Police in Queens are searching for two drivers who hit the same man and kept going.

The incident happened around 2:30 a.m. Sunday, at 115th Avenue and 131st Street in South Ozone Park, Queens.

Police said the man was pronounced dead at the scene with severe head and body injuries.

According to police, the unidentified 43-year-old man was attempting to cross the street when the first car struck him and knocked him to the ground.

Police say he was lying on the ground in the westbound lane of 115th Avenue when an SUV ran the man over at the intersection of 131st Street.

Police are investigating.
