A man has been killed in the Lower Mainland’s most recent shooting — the second in less than 24 hours.
Vancouver police found the victim dead in the basement of a house on Nanaimo Street near 15th Avenue around 8:30 Wednesday night.
Police have no suspects and believe the shooting was targeted.
The victim’s name has not been released.
Earlier that morning, police found an empty pick-up truck riddled with bullet holes in the parking lot of a Langley Tim Hortons. No victims or suspects were found.
Five people have been shot dead in two weeks in Metro Vancouver, and police have no suspects in any of the incidents.
