Man released after JFK scare

A Brooklyn man who escaped Haiti only to end up in handcuffs Saturday, told police he mistakenly breached security at JFK Airport by going through a door into a restricted area.

Jules Paul Bouloute, 57, was released without bail last night after his arraignment in Queens on criminal tampering and trespassing charges. Opening the door set off an alarm and a search that ended with the car service driver’s arrest at his Canarsie home.

“This is ridiculous,” Scott Dufault, Bouloute’s lawyer said. “He came back from Haiti after the earthquake. Imagine what this gentleman has been through. He’s not a terrorist.”
