A man in his 20s was fatally shot yesterday morning, potentially following a fight that started on a late-night harbor cruise.
Police responded to 290 Northern Ave. just before 2:30 a.m. and found the unidentified man suffering from a gunshot wound to the head.
He was rushed to Tufts Medical?Center, where he was pronounced dead.
The man was on the Viking Starliner for a harbor cruise, and police believe that a fight took place aboard the ship.
Officials said the shooting occurred on the dock after the ship returned from its trip.
The cruise company’s website described the 110-foot, two-deck boat as “a great location for the larger party of 100-plus passengers.” It has a capacity of up to 348 passengers.
