Massachusetts teen arrested for allegedly stabbing mom, brother while on vacation in Florida

A Massachusetts teenagerwas arrested Thursday morning after allegedly stabbing two family members while on vacation in Florida.

Gust Ramgren, 16, confessed to stabbing both his mother and younger brother while the family was in Siesta Key, according to theSarasota County Sheriff’s Office,

The stabbing occurred Wednesday night, officials said.When deputies arrived on scene, they found the mom and her 14-year-old son suffering from multiple injuries. Whileattempting life-saving efforts, reports came in that Ramgren had been located nearby.

Both victims are currently hospitalized in critical condition.

According to Facebook,Ramgren attended Newton South High School. Hefaces two counts of attempted second degree murder, officials said. The investigation is ongoing.
