Data released by the state on Thursday showed that the unemployment rate remained unchanged between July and August.
The state’s jobless rate in August held steady at 7.2 percent, according to the Office of Labor and Workforce Development.
Unemployment is up 0.4 percent from last August, according to the data.
Despite the jobless rate remaining unchanged, a preliminary estimate showed that the state added 7,500 jobs in August.
