A man was ordered to court by Transit Police today after he allegedly assaulted a T bus driver.
The unidentified man apparently became angry after the Route 39 driver asked him for his fare. That’s when the man pushed the driver and threw change at him, a T spokesman said.
The assault took place about 8:25 a.m. at Huntington Avenue and Green Street.
Police detained the man and issued him a summons to appear in court.
Officials cleared the bus driver to continue service after he denied medical treatment.
The bus did not have cameras, the T spokesman said.
