Itching to get your weekend started? Kick it off early by heading to the Dance Centre and jive with the Shiamak’s (Vancouver) Bollywood Jazz Team.
The team will be performing dances choreographed by Shiamak Davar, one of India’s leading choreographers, as part of the Discover Dance! series, which showcases diverse B.C.-based companies. The routines are an energetic combination of Western jazz, hip hop, and Indian dance.
The Dance Centre is in downtown Vancouver at 677 Davie St. The performance starts at noon. Tickets are $10 and can be purchased online at www.ticketstonight.ca.
