Ottawa residents can test their pint-pouring skills at two events Friday and Saturday to earn a chance to compete at the Ottawa Regional Stella Artois Draught Master Competition Sept. 18.
The qualifying events are scheduled for the Foundation at 18 York St. Friday at 11 p.m., and at the Standard at 360 Elgin St. beginning at 7 p.m. Saturday.
Beginning with the glassware, the pouring ritual demands that pourers follow the correct technique to ensure a perfect pint.
